‍

Key Features:

‍

  • Armless fluoroscopy simulation outside the Operating Room
  • Fluoroscopy simulation with and without contrast enhancement
  • Test multiple coil sizes, flow diverter types, or WEB devices on a high-fidelity reusable vasculature models
  • Fast anatomical model replacement

‍

Addressed Clinical Challenges

‍

Coiling

‍

  • Aneurysm Suitability: not all aneurysms are suitable for endovascular coiling, this depends on size, shape and location.
  • Inadequate Aneurysm Occlusion: achieving complete occlusion of the aneurysm with coils can be challenging, especially in cases of wide-necked or complex-shaped aneurysms.
  • Access and Navigation Challenges: navigating through blood vessels may be challenging with tortuous and narrow anatomical features.

‍

Flow diverters

‍

  • Branch Vessel Complications: challenging in treating aneurysms located near branch vessels, potentially leading to ischemic events.
  • Patient Suitability: Flow diverters may not be suitable for all aneurysm types. Patient characteristics, such as the size and location of the aneurysm, as well as the anatomy of the surrounding blood vessels, need to be carefully considered in the decision-making process.

‍

Woven EndoBridge (WEB) Devices

‍

  • Thrombotic Complications: during the insertion of the WEB device, there is a risk of thrombus formation at the site of the aneurysm or in the surrounding blood vessels.
  • Vascular Remodeling and Restenosis: in certain cases, the WEB device may fail to attain a complete and lasting occlusion of the aneurysm, especially if the aneurysm's morphology does not perfectly conform to the device.
